Zimbabwe is a country in Africa . On the African map it is on the southern part of Africa, Zimbabwe shares its boarders with south Africa ,Botswana ,Zambia and Mozambique .Zimbabwe has a population of about 14,86 million people thus according to the World Bank (2020). It is a land locked country country and is known for its dramatic landscape and diverse wild life ,much of it within parks ,reserves and safari areas .Zimbabwe's  capital city is Harare  and it has 10 provinces.

In Zimbabwe we have 13 official languages these include English, Shona ,Ndebele, Chewa, Ndau Chibarwe, Kalanga , Khoisan , Nambya , Shangani , Sesotho , Tonga ,Venda and Xhosa .We have different cultures hence  traditions and culture vary according to tribes


FOOD



Zimbabwe has a variety of foods that vary from traditional dishes to western dishes . Corn meal is one and most common and popular Zimbabwean foods. Sadza is a carbohydrate staple ,eaten in many households across the country . Some of the popular foods in Zimbabwe are;

Spring in Zimbabwe is a continuation of long dry winter season differs on in warming. Spring months are September , November

June and July are the coldest months of the year

Zimbabwe has traditional and modern dressing like any other  country

There are 2 distinct Zimbabwean music scenes , one is the most traditional African style and the other is the very popular modern music scene with some European influence .For music instruments we have also traditional instruments these include mbira ,marimba ,hosho, and drums
